Sew Should You

Summer Camp
Looking for some summer fun for your child. Let me teach them to sew. I supply the sewing machines and thread, student supplies the fabric. Your child can learn to sew this summer. Many projects to choose from starting with a pillow case.
Classes are held weekdays in the morning. Come any day convenient for you.
First Lesson
First day, you will learn how to wind a bobbin and thread your sewing machine. Then you practice sewing on paper. This is fun. It is important to come for this class first in order for you to sucessfully complete your next projects. You must know how to operate a sewing machine in order to gain the confidence needed to learn how to sew. You also learn how to feed your fabric through the sewing machine in order to sew a straight line, curved line, pivoting, circles, needle position. You will be able to identify all the parts of a sewing machine and what they are used for.
Next Lesson
(Prerequisite: First Lesson)
Make a pillow case. In this class you start learning how to read a pattern, measure and cut fabric. Once you have completed this class you can choose what project to work on for your next class.
